Lazy Cat

As part of my beloved print series "Cats and Plants", Lazy cat is a hand carved and hand printed linocut print. I created a hand embroidered version of this print, which was hand stitched with gold embroidery thread, giving the piece a tactile feel, and a beautiful airy contrast to the linocut print. Each print in the series in a different pose, and surrounded by different flowers. This series in done in the traditional technique of linocut printmaking
